RE: Official HPI MT2 Thread
What I am saying is if some one else is on your channel a fail-safe does you no good this is the type of interference I am talking about.
Spurs if you are having troubles with stripping them either your mesh is off big time or your clutch is slipping causing the CB to heat up and melt the spur. I have been running the same spur on my Savage with well over 7 plus gallons with out a problem and it has the same spur as my MT but the Savage is about 6 pounds heaver. The only spur I had problems with is when I fist built the truck and was breaking it in a do to the stock clutch shoes slipping so bad it melted my spur. Put good shoes in have not had problems since.
My 4.6 SS Savage has been a very durable and reliable truck with 7 plus gallons throw it still running great!!!
When you are talking about nitro engines are you talking about engines in general or are you talking about RC truck and car engines, as there is a VERY BIG difference!!!! The biggest TRUE RC truck engine is a .32. The truckzilla 46 is nothing but a redesigned low RPM helicopter engine and a good 28 will out run it top end but it does have loads of torque. If you look you will see that car and truck engines turn about 3 to 4 times the RPM of and air engine.
