I am posting this for those who may use this idea for help or to thier advantage. If you do not like it , keep your flapper shut. I am posting this to help others, not to invite critisism[:-].
Anyway, I have often bought and sold built aircraft and was stymied by the tail feathers. They made me use big boxes and I always had to ship greyhound bus. I built this waco with the option of being able to remove the tail feathers. They are mounted using (4) 4-40 SHCS into brass threaded wood inserts that are screwed into hardwood blocks. Once bolted down that tail aint going anywhere.

That looks like a good idea. One thing though... I'm the only old Grouch allowed to preach in here.
No one is going to criticize anyone's idea's or practices (long as they are safe) How about posting some more of your ideas. I may want to incorperate some of them on the next one. The 25% version will have some tail surfaces that are bigger than the wings on some models.
