Your thoughts on all the elevator of all you can get will only result in a snapping out tendancy when you pull too much at the wrong time. As much aileron throw will only cause some serious issues in the roll department as you try to hang on. And with the correct cg and rudder throw a Kingcat will knife edge the length of any field all day long. 40 - 45 degrees of flaps will drop you into the dirt if you run anything less than a 45 pound thrust motor on the bird. The flap area is enormous and should not exceed 32 degrees unless you have a large amount of residual thrust.
