ill probably get abused for this but oh well, the thing is there are so many posts on here because the same questions get asked over and over. And like myself pretty new to the sport the hpi was a good choice for beginners and thats what hpi is known for easy beginner vehicles..

I agree 100%

HPI is made cheap and easy for the beginner. The R40 and possibly the Savage were the only 2 products HPI built with track racing in mind and I think they paid more attention to quality on those 2.

Lets not forget the Hellfire! I know a big time racer here in Georgia racing one! When he comes to the local track every one knows who is going to win. There are quite a few of other brands out there not near as durable as HPI. The first thing with an off road Traxxas a person dose is buy RPM arms. The racers at our local track that have Revo’s that are not running RPM arms are breaking them all the time. I have NEVER broken an A arm on my MT, Savage or Hyper 8.
