Hey Guys I just got an idea and I thought it would be cool. My friend has an evader BX and ive got an ST. I was thinking it would be cool to put the st arms on the Bx so it looks alot ccoler with a wider stance. The only parts Id say you need is longer steering rods driveshafts and of course the arms. If you guys have tried this tell me what its like please and if theres any other parts needed and problems to deal with.
I believe that is what's called a "truggy", part truck and part buggy.
raz, yeah that's what thundermanmike called his BX after modifying it. He wanted a more stable front end so put ST wheels and tires on his BX. All he had to do was put ST knuckles and tighten up the tie rod all the way in order to get the wheels at the right toe-in/out setting. It definitely made his BX more stable. Somewhere within the last 60 or so pages of this thread he posted what he did. I am on the phone with him now and he said he was going to send me a pic of the conversion when he finds the ones he took. He opted not to do a full conversion (arms, tie rods, etc) because he still wanted it to be lighter than the ST. Still, it works the way he did it and it actually makes for one bad-arse looking buggy...sorry...truggy.
