Thanks for the advice on the glow. It does seem after a while that the plug doesn;t glow after a few tries when I take it out. However the engine has been idling for a few minutes and I am making improvements.
I took off the cowl now cause there seems to be a large amount of fuel leaking. Upon inspection its comming from the carburator.

As for the air field there is one but it doesn't look like its in service. I am 30 minutes away from it and I've tried to contact them but no dice. I will move forward on my own step by step.
