Default RE: Official HPI MT2 Thread

lol yeah i thought that was the correct way back in the day. but then i read about heat cycle break in. thats what i done with my lrp.

ORIGINAL: 46u

ORIGINAL: nitro-is-deadly

u wanna knw how i purposely blew my t-15?

when u break it in u put it on a box right?

so i did

i gave it a huge idle speed tho
and gave it full throttle in 5 second burst!

so basiccaly after the break in--the engine was broken

for somereason tho it ran good even after i just put it through hell in the break in session..so wat i do next? i leaned it out soo badly and it overheated so much and i removed the air filter

now i have the O.S

HPI tell people one of the worst ways of breaking an engine in! Sitting idling tanks of fuel is a NO NO.
