Bill;
I really like the exaust pipes,look very scale. Your cowl looks larger than mine. If you don't mind,would you measure the distance across the cowl at the center line. I am liking the twin more and more. Are you using an on board glow system? Do you think my OS 120 would work if I come in around 12 lbs. I am using it on a Hanger 9 FuntanaX that weighs 13.5 lbs and it will take the plane vertical on take off,but it will not hang on the prop,but it has plenty of power.

Gaines, the cowl on mine has a true diameter of 8". I use the McDaniels on board glow driver with the leads that came with the engine. These do not add to the dimensional width of the engine. The 120 will work just fine. I did one with this engine, and the plane was in the 14.5 pound range. You earlier spoke of hovering and vertical, but the waco was never designed for these types of flight. This model would really look weird flying harriers, and torque rolls. If that is your forte', I would reccoment something like the Ultimate. The WACO with the 120 will not do verticals (unless you are talking about vertical dives) These exhaust pipes on mine are made from plumbing supply tubing (bought them at Lowes) and you can puy them in lengths up to around 30" for about 6 bucks. Talk about cheap...
