The stock servo's are fine for everyday use the advantage to metal gear high torque servos are a claim of increased strength to the servo itself mainly internal and the higher torque output helps combat the added stress of a wider tires or extreme conditions. It's kind of like driving a fullsize automobile without power steering then a automobile with power steering.or a automobile without power brakes then with power brakes
