Greetings,

I apologize if this was asked before but I could not find any post regarding my question.

I have three seasons of flying experience and built two kits, 4*40 and Venture 60. I was interested in practicing and entering the Basic competition class. I was wondering if you could suggest a variety of competition scale planes that are either good kits to build or ARFs.

I was thinking of obtaining a plane with a wingspan approximately 70 inches. Is this an acceptable plane size for basic and possibly the next step of IMAC competitions?

I have been eye-balling GREAT PLANES EXTRA 300S 60. With a 0.91 4-stroke or O.S. .61FX 2-stroke(leaning towards the latter)
