Default RE: Protech Tojeiro-90 build. The last one?

Wagen017,

I'm fying the Tojeiro 90 with a YS 91AC. Run 20% nitro and 20% oil and turning 14 x 10 APC prop. I had to custom build the pipe tunnel and I also rearranged all the servo mounts at the rear of the canopy. I moved the rudder servo in the center and lower the elevator servo (servo lying on it's side) below the rudder servo and it is located a little off center for the push rod back to the elevator bell crank. I have not weighed it, but I do not have any trouble with it's vertical performance. It was flown by an experienced pattern and IMAC pilot and he said it was a real smooth aircraft and with few aileron and rudder mixes the aircraft would be very competitive.
I forgot on other issue is with the landing gear. They are real heavy and week. Protech is aware of the problem and it going to change that for the next production run. I used a carbon fiber gear for the Hangar 9 Showtime. I cut the gear in half and transfered the bolt pattern and they work great. I fly off of grass and I went to a larger foam Dubro 2 3/4 inch wheel and the wheel pant from the Showtime. The purple trim on the pants matches the purple on the aircraft.

Good luck
Larry
