Default RE: MATRIX BRUSHLESS???

Guys......i have read through most of this thread and it's got me excited about getting my older MBX-4 XR works into an electric monster.

I have a speacially designed motor mount i came across off of ebay about a year or so ago , but just never used it yet. It's made to bolt onto the chassis of a mugen MBX-4 or MBX-5 and be able to hook up a 540 sized motor.

I have two questions.........

1.) If i was going to go with the quark 125B , which motor (want a NEU or plentenburg.....think i spelled that wrong?) would go good with this ESC? and what size LIPO packs should i be running?

2.) If i wait for the new MAMBA MONSTER MAX........what motor and battery pack should i go for?

I'll be running some pretty big 1/8th scale typw tracks , so will need a lot of power , but not the type in which it'll be snapping CVD's and tearing up the rest of the drivetrain from all the power.

I'm going to use this MBX-4 as a test bed , but what to get a complete motor/ESC set up that i won't have to upgrade later. i plan on installing it later into either a 777 chassis or MBX-5.

Thanks guys!! and sorry , i don't mean to hijack the thread , just looked like we have a ton of really good info here......just wanted to join in.

JEFF
