I will try your set up ASAP. By the way, I am using the standard 7 channel Futaba Rx (...127DF?) so I can also use the auxiliary channels. Would this be preferable to Ch. 5?

I guess one thing still bothers me - if I create a third mix Ch. 4 with Ch. 5 and control with the rudder stick (Ch. 4 as Master and Ch. 5 as slave) to obtain the differential (pseudo ailerons) action, can this work all the time, i.e. can the spoilers be deployed simultaneously with Sw. B?

Hi Kevin, I tried to set mine up as closely to your set up as possible, although for anything over a 4 channel receiver, my channel assignments were different than what you have.

But the easiest way to set channels 4 and 5 to work together on a switch is to go into a Pmix, make Offset the master and channel 4 the slave, set thise to the switch or knob that you prefer and then set the rates at +100%. Do this again with channel 5 as the slave to the same switch. If this makes your spoilers work as opposite, you need to change the percentages to -100%.

An Offset mix is very useful when you are wanting to do something of this sort, or for use with gear doors, etc. When set, it will tell a servo to go to a predetermined position (the rate that you set) in its travel upon moving the designated swithc, and stay there until the switch is moved once again.

Link is just as its name applies, it links a mix to another specific servo used in a previous mix. Say you have set up a mix from Aileron to Elevator, and link is turned on, then the radio will mix from Aileron to Elevator and if there are other mixes from elevator to other channels, it will also obey those.
