If you say so--but I'd look with a magnifying glass--and if they have been on and off without regard to direction they are already distorted--that's why I showed the pic of brand-new, never installed ones.
The mark is more of a mold mark than an indicator like on the Align links, but it is there, I have 4 sets and they all are as I describe.

Of course we in the frozen north could be getting different product, we sometimes do, the Budweiser here is muuuch better than in the states...
