sorry for the confusion Ernst i was talking about the boat tricat has been modifying your pics by the way are great and only feed my hunger to build one even more.i was in such a rush i forgot to add his name to my post doh!!.my point was tricat that rather than modify a mono hull sailboat by adding floats etc wouldnt the best way to go be to use a properly designed trimaran!! either from plans or a kit.i also dont see how moving the floats forward of the main hull will make much difference when the boat is sailing on one float .if that were the case then all tris would surely be designed this way?.that said if the boat sails well in 30 knots it sounds like your doing something right.id really like to see it on one float though!!.a video of it would help convince me it works
