That could be. I found that I fried one RX due to a faulty jet motor.
The motor seemed to cause a little more drag than the one on the
other side and sure enough after time it fried the RX.
I then used this same jet motor on another RX and over time it started
cutting out that RX. I replaced the motors with that of an 05 bipe and
the RX works fine now.
Keeping the motors well lubricated should also increase the life of the RX.
