The engine that comes with the RTF version is already broken in at the factory.
No, it's not really. It's just been run for a few minutes at best. OS also seems to ALWAYS ship their engines with the idle (low end) mixture set on the rich side which matches your symptoms.
Your engines needs 2 things basically:
1. To have the idle mixture leaned out some. Take this gradually, 1/8 turn increments until the engine will accelerate without stumbling off idle.
2. Running time. Your engine will actually be breaking in for the better part of the first gallon of fuel. Don't rush it. With every tank your idle will get better/lower/smoother as the piston wears in.
