who would win if 1 had a mt2 and 1 had a rc10gt or gt2?
im really starting to like the 2wd st's thinking bout grabbing a lil cheap rc10gt kit..is this kit ok joe?
the track..let me get specific on it..a straight..tripples--sharp curves--all elements-hard clay
both using .15 engines both use same tires both have same tune. same radio same servo
i guess when it comes to it basiccaly which 1 handles better which 1 weighs less
In a drag race on the street the RC10GT would win!
On a track most likely the MT2 would win!
The RC10GT is much lighter and has less rotating mass being it is 2WD, on the track I think the MT2 would be the faster of the two, it handles better and gets through the turns better.
I had a Picco .12 engine in one of my MT2 trucks then moved it to my RC10GT, it was much more torquey and faster in the GT. Also I won an RC10GT that had an OS .18 CV-r installed and this engine was too much for the GT to handle. I took it out of the GT and installed it in my on-road MT1 where it was much better suited. I currently still have the engine installed in the MT1 (it is the black on-road truck in the picture).
I have drag raced my RC10GT with a Picco .15 RC Speed engine against my Kyosho Inferno 7.5 Kanai 3 buggy with a RB .21 Racing engine in the grass and the parking lot. The Buggy killed the GT in the grass where the GT could never catch up but the GT was much faster on the assfault. I thought for sure my GT would win in both races being it was lighter but I that was not the case on the grass. At the time the GT did not have the best tires for traction on grass but it was so much faster than the 1/8th buggy in the parking lot I though for sure it would have caught up and pass the buggy. Boy I was wrong. Both my friend and myself could not believe it. I currently have better tire for the GT on the grass and will have to do this race over again.
