Default RE: Pitts s2b by Cermark

Hi Wayne,

I have the Cermark Pitts and have many flights. It will hop on landing unless you are patient and get the speed just right. I have a Saito 180 and it has plenty of power as you may imagine. I have four aileron servos and it it very responsive. I put about 60% expo in the aileron channel and that smoothed things out a lot. I doesn't take much rudder on takeoff, and if you use too much initally you will then have to chase it a bit. It gets off pretty quick but don't force it off at too low a speed. I used expo in the elevator and rudder but don't remember how much. I added a tailwheel assembly from Troy-built hobbies, and that really makes the ground handling nice. It is responsive and will do most anything. Dead stick landings are over pretty quick as the Pitts has a steep glide angle. let me know if you have specific questions......
