Default RE: TINY SERVOS - SOOOO CUTE . . .

Darren, I have logged a bunch of hours with the following Hitec single conversion receivers: Feather, HRS04MG, HFS05MG, and 05FS--and the 05S is the only one I haven't had ANY known glitches on--it's also the only one with any "advanced" circuitry in it, IIRC. I'm not sure if it has DSP like the bergs, but it acts like it, and I do remember that it has auto gain and auto shift select, unlike the other hitecs. For the record, I don't fly competitively in pylon; it's just a sporty speed plane for me. As far as the background RF goes, our field is lucky enough to have both a quarry AND a railroad track within 300 yds of the field perimeter, and there have been a LOT of documented RF problems over the years there, especially with older AM equipment. I also fly JR AND Berg receivers, and like them. I just thought I'd offer my 2ยข on the Rx, didn't want to derail the thread, so I'll shut up about that now.

RE: the Mini Telemaster--

Which Telemaster are we talking about here? I don't know anything about the "micro" telemaster, but I have been flying the 45" Mini Telemaster for about 3 years now. The radio gear you have would be PERFECT for it. I'm using a set of cheapie cirrus 9g servos in mine, along with an axi 2212/26 outrunner and 3S lipo.

Tigerdude, good luck with your plane search.
