Just hovered through another full charge. Kept the pattern a lot tighter tonight which meant I had quicker reaction time in correcting drift. It wasn't a 2ft x 2ft but I kept it in a 4ft x 3ft area. Major improvement, and my nerves were more settled this time. The machine seemed to handle well and was predictable and I didn't over correct too much this time. I was fighting ground effect because it was between 1" to 1ft in the air at all times. If it tried to zoom out in front of me, I pulled back on the stick immediately and brought it back. Most of the hover was 2ft in front of me and it did pendelum side to side about a ft each way. All in all...a good practice session.
