Default Giles hinges

Well, there I was flying my recently finished Modeltech Giles 202 for the first time.

Great take off; only 2 clicks down and 3 clicks left aileron to trim perfectly.

On the third lap, something fluttered down on the down-wind leg, so I landed straight away.

Nice landing . .

Only one elevator still hinged on the Stab. . . <argh!>

The left elevator broke in two pieces, and pulled away from the stab. The strange thing is, the CA hinges didn't pull out of their slots, the actually hinge material failed and left each half in each side of the hinge.

Luckily the push rod pulled off the servo arm, otherwise I would have had a flapping piece of elevator, and that would have made it slightly more difficult to land in one piece.

I reckon I might use pinned hinges. Maybe Dubro or Robart.

Any suggestions?
