Well I did have a problem with the throttle linkages and then a lost a screw and replaced it with another screw (That wasnt meant for it) and it seems to work fine how do i tell if the carb is completely open? by looking down the whole where the air filter would be? beacause it seems to be open all the way.
So the problem still stands..Problem hitting second gear and brakes arent working very well at all!
I will return the HSN to stock settings and work from there and see if anything happens.
any comments welcome! please!
Sounds like your servo is not set correctly or is hanging on something. You can disconnect the throttle rod and move the carb by hand to see what it should look like when at full throttle. Make sure the servo is working corrctly then I would start with the engine and get it tuned correctly. Make sure you are getting some smoke during acceleration. Then you can work on the 2nd gear problem but it may fix itself once the engine is tuned correctly. You said it was running great before. When was that? Has there been a change in weather conditions? If so, you would need to adjust the engine. Hope this helps. I had bad luck with the 2.5 engine so I bought a OS .18TM. My T-Maxx is fun to drive again
