Default RE: New Ugly Stick Biplane

Mine came in today! Now that is fast deliverey, shipped on Sat from PA and arrived in this little po-dunk West Texas town today by USPS.
Philreuman I will take your advice and change out most of the hardware with better stuff, go with the ASP 52, a little larger wheels and beef up all the week parts and joints. It is time to make a visit to the LHS ( which is 110 miles away) and get all the parts and pieces I might need, and of course a few extra items just to be safe.
I went flying today with my 8 yo Grandaughter and had absolutely beautiful weather. I flew my RCM Funster and a Slow Poke 40. The SP 40 has an OS 46FX and that is plenty of power for that plane. 1/2 to 1/4 throttle is quite enough to fly it well. The Slow Poke and the Funster are a lot of fun. Found out today that the Grandaughter wants to learn to fly, now that is great news. Guess who will be looking for a Trainer pretty soon?
Once again thak you for the info, good luck with your second plane, and keep those batteries charged.
