I'm not sure which radio you're referring to. Airtronics makes good equipment. I would, however, avoid their older gear that uses the Airtronics Standard (black) connector. All of their newer stuff has the "Z" connector (blue), which is interchangable with JR and Futaba. That saves a lot of hassle. Before you buy, make sure you know what type of connectors it uses.
Also, if it's a used radio make sure to ask about the condition of the batteries. Ask the seller to cycle them and tell you what type of shape they're in. Having to buy new batteries can quickly turn a bargain into a money pit.
