Also try not to point the Tx ant. directly towards the tank. Keeping the Tx ant. in a vertical position will help with signal operation. Remember to always turn "on" the Tx after you extend the ant and turn "off" the Tx before you collapse the ant. In other words, the ant. should always be extended when ever the Tx is turned "on".

We are assuming that both your Tx and tank batteries are fully charged and that the contacts are clean and sound. The "Sender" Tx battery trays on these tanks are prone to poor or open contacts, so try different battery brands if worse comes to worse. I have better luck with Duracell alk. batteries fitting these Tx units then with some of the other brands. HTH
