strive for a setup weighing abour 6lbs and about 800-1000 squares
the name of the model means little -the weight means a LOT
after 7 lbs you are on the wrong side for really good 3D stuff with that engine
I agree with those numbers... Anything outside of those parameters is gonna take a lot of work to 3d....

You guys need to try some profiles.... These fatty birds mentioned here don't 3d half as good as a profile... Once you've flow a profile in this size range, you'll throw rocks at those other birds
I have tried profiles (Fusion 90 size with YS 110) I can't tell it is any different from my UCD with the same engine. It probably does a better knife edge but that's it. I think the UCD does a better waterfall and flat spins are clearly better. I like the profile don't get me wrong...but to make a statement that the UCD or other nice 3D plane doesn't fly "half" as good is a blatant lie. I get real tired of hearing you profile guys putting everybody else down. My UCD weighs 7lbs 12 ozs. My Fusion weighs 7lbs 8 ozs so there isn't even much difference in weight. Anyways, give the regular guys a break. Don't always slam everybody and insist they get a profile.

I think my Velox 90 size by MaxAir will fly better in everyway than my profile. But it doesn't fly twice as good.

I did notice that you own the company that sells the MOJO and other profiles. Maybe that has clouded your thinking.

Anyways, I have nothing against profiles. They fly nice. But they certainly are not Twice as good. Not even close.

Thanks
Barry
