I'll keep the distance between the stringers a bit more than 5'' just to ensure that the zen I'm gonna buy fits. If the distance is big after installing the engine I'll just glue some spare wood on the the stringers until I got the job done

by the way...do I have to sand each epoxy coat before proceeding to applying the next one???
