Sand the model smooth

Wipe off all the balsa dust

Use a damp cloth to wipe off all the balsa dust

Blow off all the balsa dust with 60 psi compressed air

Use 1/2" strips to do all the TEs (inside the aileron bays) and inside corners first

Work in the opposite direction of the airstream when lapping

Heat tack the Monokote

Tug like mad

Cut lots of darts on curves and tug like mad

And pull hard.
