Default RE: A brushless question

ok I hate work, I miss so much here lol.

Eyekandy yeah its the palm beach boat. We got a deal on a KMB drive with the boat.

For the heck of it lets say I used a 12L, how many cells would that require, I guess I'm just confused as to how to quantify the difference in voltage and RPM in a brushless vs. brushed setup. So if you were me and wanted more power, but wanted to go lighter, what would you do?

Like lets say I go lipo too, which is on the table at the moment. but if you could give me lipo and reg. cell #'s, that would be great. I'm sorry I'm such a pain, but I want to break into this side of boating, but dont really know how to set it up.

Also what do you think about odessit's setup idea. good motor? I see on that site someone said it was a good replacment for a 400, we dont want that(need 700) but is that guy right?

good esc? I saw you had recommended some in your thread which I had in mind.
