Default RE: A brushless question

ORIGINAL: odessit

12L it is.
I've googled a bit on Lipo and H2O - I guess not a good mix, but it would provide for colorful fireworks display

Since I have to start from scratch - what are the good batteries to get?
I only toyed with small scratch built airboats (running LiPoly) and really have no idea what runtimes to expect from 12L / Jet Drive. Quicksilver what's the mAh rating of your pack and how long were the run times on your jet boat with 700sc?
well, right now I've got some 2400mah sport packs, nothing great. Run time is about 7-10 minutes, using 12 cells in series. Now I was going to get some buy packs at cheap battery packs.com, however someone found some good packs at radioshack of all places.
Thats my plan as of now, I just havent bought them yet.

6-cell GP3300 packs, for 25$.

I'm going to buy at least two of them take them apart and assemble them with battery bars and upgrade the wires. I would guess we'd get about the same run time, since we'll be going brushless and the amperage is going to go up. The GP and IB packs are the best from what I gather. I might have to go down to southside and see if the local radioshack has them.
