Hi everyone.
I'm new to this forum.
I've driven RC cars for 20+ years. Spent the last 8 years driving nitro cars and trucks of every kind.
I think I'm ready to step up into the world of flight. I've been looking at this Tower Trainer .46
Is this a good plane to start out with?
Is it possible to learn to fly w/o an instructor? Or, should I find one?
The Tower trainer with the .46 can be a fairly quick plane. I would not try to learn on my own with this plane. I've been flying an Easy Star electric for 2 years and I still felt that I needed an instrutor to help me with the Tower trainer. I'm glad I did. As far as the plane goes I don't think you can get a finer trainer for the money. It went together great and it flys great.
