I built one over twenty years ago for racing with an OS .25 and a 7-6 prop. It survived a season of competition and could fly again with a new radio installation. By all means, feel free to place the balance at 3 1/2" for your inital flight. Looking forward to the post flight picture in another forum closer to the top.
