I think that 12 cell (14.4 V) on that motor may be too much for the drive.
Recommended RPM range is 15-20K RPM
12L is 2048 RpV, running at WOT is 29491.2 RPM, way outside the spec (I may be talking to a wrong crowd about the specs, we are here to push everything well beyond recommended specs)

I am still thinking to get the following
11.1 LiPoly (3 cell pack)
Feigao 9XL (1853 RpV and higher torque/lower Amps over the L series)
20568.3 RPM
The extra weight of the XL motor will balance the lower weight of the LiPoly packs.

LiPoly packs will be sealed in a waterproof box. Maybe even with water-cooling coils around the packs to cool them down because they are sealed. What you all think?
