Default RE: A brushless question

ORIGINAL: sailr

Would it surprise you to learn that MOST of the brushless motors made today are made in China? Hacker motors (that they tell you are made in Germany) are made in shenzhen, China. AXI motors (that they tell you are made in the Czech Republic) are made in Zuhai, China. I have been to the factory.

++ on the question for the exact same boat

I've been toying with the idea on getting the following setup:
Quannum drive 36-55

($33)
HXT120A hexTronik PRO 120A BESC w/ PC Programmability
https://www.unitedhobbies.com/UNITED...idProduct=2120
($49)

2x 4 Cell 4100mAh LiPoly (for 8200 mAh of scary fun running goodness)

I guess - how bad can a Chinese brushless motor be? For $33 USD you can almost get 2 for the price of one Feigao 10XL.

China is the new leading world power. ALot of people just don't know it yet. The number of American Children taking Chinese as a second language is out growing all other second language classes. Can you guess why? The have called China the "Sleeping Dragon" for hundreds of years for a reason.
I am just saying that it does'nt supprise me because most everything is made in China.
