Thanks for the advice guy's,
I had a mix in to add a little down on full power but my tx only then allows both ail/elev dual rates on the same switch which I don't like.
I'll look into the downthrust and tx settings.

Slow landing in low wind is the exact scenario I encountered it in.
Normally it's windy here so it never happened before.

I've got one last chance with the check, so wish me luck !
