What temp does it run at with the body off? If it is fine you may want to drill some cooling holes in the windshield. You mentioned you checked foir air leaks on the motor but did you go ahead and seal it anyway? I had a leak on my carb and when I sealed that the temp went down roughly 50!!! Anyway, it does appear the ST motor is getting known for running hot but those are some things you could check. [8D] They have some other aluminum WH stuff also. Just make sure that smoke is coming out of the pipe when you accelerate so you are pretty sure you get enough oil in that motor.
