RE: Air Hogs Aero Ace!
Lumpa, I need more info. Generally, the wing extensions need to balanced in angle and length. Also, your wing area is now so large that wind will create a problem. If your flying in just a little wind and get sideways to the wind, it will flip your plane. I am assuming you put the wings on with the thicker part forward, if you put them on with the thin side forward all sorts of calamity will befall you. If you could post a pic I'm sure some one can help you. You could also check the aa mods thread near the top of this forum. Tim
Acro-jet review#2: With the a-j trimmed out I am starting to see some regular flying issues. 1: shorter range, I fixed this by pulling the rear of the plane apart and popping out about 1/2" of antenna out of the foam. I then tape the wire down and resealed the fuse with the same bit of tape. 2: You have to fly this thing! It is NOT self righting, if you put into a bank it will stay in a bank until you counter steer. I have added the stir sticks to the plane to minimze wing travel and this helps a lot, but you still have to fly the plane. 3: And this might sound silly, but the a-j is faster than it seems and bigger than a bipe or jet, Depth percection and judging distances is harder when flying.
