I would place magnet strips along the bench so if you drop any parts they wolnt get lost.

Good idea I just built my workbench out in the shed. Think I might run out and get some magnetic strip and put them on it; I'm constatly loosing small screws among other things []

I would have to agree, I like this idea. Firefighter7, any chance you could post some pics of your workbench, it would be great to see what you came up with.
