Default RE: tailess design

Nekked Man, yes... that is very similar to what we built... I got mine down yesterday and looked at it a bit contemplating refurbishing it... it suffers some damage. I did note that it also had plywood added to the aft end and had blind nuts and traces of the motor mount, so mine was converted also from the .051 teedee.

My memory is coming back a bit and with the pusher config we didn't suffer the flat spin problem. I'm not sure what motor was on the back... but the smallest motor I think I had was an Enya 19, which I still have flying on a Honker bipe.

With the pusher, we didn't hand launch... tricycle landing gear were installed though they were ripped from the bottom. I noted the extra hole in the forward firewall for the steering linkage so evidently we turned them into four channel planes, though they had no rudder.

I also recall Ace had some mini servo kits and I think that is what was used because its pretty crowded inside.

Thanks for posting the drawings... It might be a fun plane to build as an E flight
