Default RE: RC10GT Sand Setup???

I would advise against it because it will be very harsh on the truck. Be careful with sand it will tear your truck and engine apart. IF you really want to then make sure you run an air and fuel filter and make sure they are good ones. Cover the reciever and try to cover the outdrives they make a special cover at rc10gthobby.com or melt some heatshrink over them. Clean it very well after you run it by taking it apart somewhat, check the bearings because i'm sure sand will get in there and eat them up.
Not too worried about the engine-just gives me a reason to upgrade. I have a fuel filter and quality air filter already. Also ordering the RPM receiver box and MIP CVD's at the same time. I also am ordering spare bearings for eerything. I basically just bash with this truck and know that I am going to start tearing that stuff up. In regards to tearing stuff up, and buying parts to keep that from happening, does anyone know where I can find a cover for the clutch bell and spur gear? Knock on wood, but I am the only one of my friends who has not torn up a spur gear yet, and I don't want to start anytime soon.
