Well I -DO- have SEVERAL WM Ultimates... up to the 1.20 which do have the 2% flat stab tails.

If the thin airfoil is used on the 33%, that is of no matter, vis-a-vis the statement about drag.

The thinness of the wing helps PREVENT parasitic drag.


At least in the photos of the 33% there does appear to be a thin airfoil used on the tail.

I haven't seen the next smaller Ultimate yet.
