Default RE: world models 50cc ultimate

No problem, and I totally agree with your explanation of airfoil thinness and drag. I do have a question I've been wanting to ask of someone in the know. Which type stabilizer, flat or airfoiled works best for 3D style flying? The reason I ask is because I have been collecting as much info as I can on 50cc size Ultimate and which will fly the way I like to fly best. I have downloaded a few videos of various Ultimates flying and the best 3D show I've seen was from downonthedeck.com with a guy flying a Wild Hare 50cc Ultimate which has a flat stab with flying wires. He obviously had a rearward CG and was flying in a 15mph wind, but that thing did the prettiest torque rolls Harriers and high alpha flying I've seen from an Ultimate. I watched another video with a World Models 50cc Ultimate and although it was doing 3D high alpha and the sort, it wasn't as impressive. Of course that could have been the pilot factor as well as the setup factor, and wind factors. So, I guess my question is ... does a flying stab stall as quick as a flat stab when you want to do wild aerobatics in a model?
