You got me thinking about the enclosed engine with your comments. I guess there is a choice of the remote glow driver like your using or opening up the bottom of the chin cowl/pipe tunnel/underbody apparatus for plug access.

I assume the underbody is molded balsa like the rest of the fuse, that being said I wonder if there needs to be additional sealing of the internal surface to prevent soaking up fuel and oil? Maybe a coat of thinned epoxy to insure against any pinhole leaks in the original construction? I hope others with experience will comment.
