Default RE: Air Hogs Aero Ace!

Thanks micro, the ribs were all cut from a cardboard template so
that helped cut the tedium- plus they're all the same size. It was
sanding each individual rib down to make them all the same that
was so time consuming.
The tail is foam plate. I really wanted to keep it all balsa but after
painting the tail antique white and applying a tan wash over it I
decided to keep it. It doesn't look at all like foam after paint.
It has a 12" wingspan with a 3.5" chord so it should almost float,
making it pretty much an indoor flyer. I'm hoping to keep it under
16 grams.
At the mall down the street the store in the north section went out of
business so there's this huge portion of the mall which remains almost
empty. It has a very high ceiling... I'm thinking of flying it around in
there- if I don't get caught.
