Default RE: Super Reg

Hi Dave,
There are benefits to using a PowerExpander in a 50cc plane. The extra filtering and buffering the PowerExpander does will help eliminate spurious noise. It is not really necessary to use a PowerExpander in a 50cc for power distribution although it will provide a small benefit over going throught the receiver. Some people would rather save the weight, although its is only 1.8oz. Some people wish to save the cost of a PowerExpander.

If you use one of our failsafe switch packages you would connect the batteries straight to the SuperReg. The failsafe switch turns the regulator off there by turning off both batteries. When using any failsafe switch you still have a very minimal draw on the batteries when off though. For the SuperReg and two batteries it is about 5mAH/Day out of each battery.
