Someone on these forums runs 3 cells all the time and doesn't have any problems. He says he's researched the 4-in-1 and found it rated to handle 3 cell packs. My theory is that E-Flight uses the same ESCs in all it's products. Anyway it would definatly shorten the motors life, but at $8 for a vortex set. well....
