Default RE: Just for fun..... Lot's of probably useless E info

If I was starting advanced and wanting to use the Tp's I would use the 4200 prolites most likely. Price is good, and they are good packs. Enough for Advanced and Masters IMO. I run the 3700's from Flight Power in Masters and they are very good but a little marginal for capacity. They work for my style of flying and I keep it under 2900mah of usage each flight.
If you were to go Extreme, you would want something in the 37-4200 range IMO for Advanced. Extremes, being the same cells (I believe as mine) would probably have a little more power due to the holding power under load.

Now this being said, this depends on your flying style and how you prop your plane. Also, if you fly the sequence and land, or if you fly the sequence and want to fly more. I fly the sequence and land, every time. (Well, when I can remember the dang thing, lol)..
If you can afford the 5300's (prolites) , they are awesome packs. Great capacity. And you can probably fly your sequence twice.
I have thought of using them for FAI later this year, but I am hopeful of some new packs in the new cells from flight power in this range....

What motor, esc, plane are you planning this in?
