question about using different battery in Blade CPP
i got a blade cpp last weekend. been flying an axe ez (like the blade cx) for a couple weeks successfully. also been using a flight simulator with a blade cp model (FS One).
the second day with the cpp, i took it to the flying field and a couple experts checked and trimmed it out nicely. i did a little hovering but nothing to write home about. i've printed out the RADD material and plan to follow that from here on out with the blade cpp
my question is that for the first couple days using the radd approach, i was wondering if i could use the batteries from my ez? they are 2 cell 7.4v where as the batteries that came with the blade is 3 cell 11.1. i bought an extra pack for both the cpp and the ez so combined i would have 4 packs to play with. other than lower engine speed, would it be ok to use the 7.4 volt in the cpp in the initial stages of the radd training? actually less power may make it a little easier - i just dont want to hurt the electronics or anything else. the connectors are the same.
opinions / advice?? of cousr i would like to buy more 3 cell 11.1v battery packs but even with more packs, seems i would need to by additional battery charger(s) so i wouldn't spend all day charging batteries.
any advice is appreciated.
