Hi all,

I just bought the FS1 and here are my impressions after a few hours of playing:

1. The Pano graphic mode is fantastic and very realistic.
2. The planes are above average but not fantastic. They have much less details than today's planes seen on combat flight sims.
3. The 3D fields are below average. The graphics look cheap with cardboard trees.
4. In some cases, the plane handles on the pavement exactly like it was on grass! Not realistic. I was able to take off from grass with ease on my park flyer J-3 cub. Also I was able to run over pot holes with ease. What's the deal here?
5. Limited planes and fields.
6. The damage is not realstic. A small hard landing tears the plane apart?

Although I have fun with it, I would give this sim a B rather than the stellar A plus that dealers have been raving about. BTW, I have fast PC with Athlon 4800 dual core and top of the line Video card. Any comments? DP
